ONLINE RESEARCH PACKAGES
Every Family History is different. It would be hoped that each hour of research would equate to one generation however, this may not always be possible. Some families have more complicated stories and may take longer. It depends on the era (years) and the area. Not all Parish records are online. If you are wanting your family traced prior to 1837 in England and Wales or 1855 in Scotland then some work may need to be done at libraries or archives.
Developing a Family Tree/History can take a lifetime. Four hours will not give you a complete Family Tree. My research online will rely mainly on the UK Census 1841-1911, the 1939 Register, and the Birth, Marriage and Death Indexes from the General Records Office, along with any Parish records which are available. It would be difficult to go much beyond 1800 online unless a family were based in the same town/village consistently. Places like Methley, Rothwell & Pontefract are much easier to trace online than anywhere Lincolnshire, as the online records for here are sparse. This is because not all Parish records are available online and I have found lots of inaccuracies when people rely on only online sources to trace their family history.
A one hour search is ideal for those who have it a brick wall or would just like to know about one particular relative. This may also be because you would like a birth, marriage, death certificate ordering or a World War I record finding.
As prices vary you may decide to do your Family History one generation at a time rather than pay for a four generation research in one go. The choice is yours.
You can also decide what type of package you would like: Skeleton, Full, Timeline, Report and/or Chart.
Skeleton
A Skeleton Family History would consist of basic information of the ancestor concerned. It would be a typed Word document of the facts found for each individual.
Cost: £30 per hour (research included in the price).
Full
A Full Family History will include a Word document on what information has been found . Each ancestor will have their own section which includes a short biography based on the information gathered from the documents found.

Timeline
A Timeline follows your ancestor through significant dates from birth. It will be constructed from parish registers (birth, Marriage, burial) and the General Records Office index (births, marriages & deaths) and census records (including voters lists when appropriate).

Report
A Report would be ideal for those who have hit a brick wall in their own research. If you are unable to find an ancestor a Report can offer up alternatives and/or where to go next. It can look at different online sites and offer possible options to solve your mystery or give a breakdown of how to narrow down too many options -such as when you have more than one individual with the same name and birth year.
Cost: £30 per hour (research included in the price).
Chart
A Chart is a visual image of your Family Tree. Depending on the Research package you choose. I would recommend this only for those who choose 3 generations search or more.
Cost: £30 per hour (research included in the price).
N.B Anyone who orders a Full or Skeleton Family History of a minimum of 3 generation research (either 3 separate orders or as a package) will be offered the Chart on that research at a discount price of £10. Anyone who orders a Full package of 4 generations or more (£100 and over) will be offered a Free Chart on that research.
